As far as I know, currently 1080/60p or 1080/50p footage is a very non-standard format which is not natively supported by the latest FCP X. Tutorial: Import Panasonic AG-UX90 MTS files to FCP X
Step One: Set up the best MTS to ProRes Converter and click the “Add” button to load the .mts videos from Panasonic AG-UX90.
Step Two: Go to “Format” column to choose “Format > Final Cut Pro > Apple ProRes 422 (*.mov)” as the best codec for FCP 6/7 and FCP X on Mac.
