Step 1. Install and launch the 4K video converting program on your Mac. Click “Add” button to load the source files. (Or you can drag & drop the 4K files to the software’s window list.)
Step 2. Choose output format. This video converter offers optimized format preset for Adobe Premiere. Just click “Format” menu firstly and then follow “Adobe Premiere/Sony Vegas” to set MPG, MOV or WMV format.

Shooting 4K and scaling down to 1080 looks better because each final 1080p pixel is actually the average of 4 original 4K pixels. This “averaging” of pixels increases color accuracy, sharpness, and improves noise performance.
