How to Import Canon XF100/XF105/C300 to Avid

Step 1. Install and launch the Canon MXF to Avid Media Composer converter. Click the Add button to import your Canon XF100/XF105/C300 MXF videos to the program. Or you can drag&drop the files into the program directly.

Step 2. Click “Format” and move your pointer to “Avid Media Composer” Category and choose “Avid DNxHD(*.mov)” as output.

Tip: You can click “Settings” button to adjust the resolution, bitrate, etc. Just customize the parameters to meet your need.

Step 3. Finally, click “Convert” button and your Canon XF100/XF105/C300 MXF files will be converted into DNxHD .mov. Once the conversion finished, it is ready to be imported into Avid Media Composer 5/6/7/8.
